How it works
- Drop a PDF onto the page, or choose one from your device.
- Choose every page as a separate file, or type the pages to extract, like 1-3, 5.
- Select Split PDF, then download the result.
Questions
- Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
- No. Splitting runs entirely in your browser. Your file, its name and its contents never leave your device and are never sent to a server.
- How do I write the pages to extract?
- Use commas and dashes, like 1-3, 5. A dash with no end, like 7-, means from page 7 to the last page. A dash with no start, like -4, means pages 1 to 4.
- What do I get when I split every page?
- One PDF per page, named after your file, bundled into a single ZIP so you only download once.
- Why can I not split a password-protected PDF?
- We cannot read the pages of an encrypted file, and we will not bypass the protection. Remove the password in the app you created it with, then try again.
- Will the pages look the same?
- Mostly. Pages are copied as they are, without being re-rendered or compressed, so text and images look the same. Bookmarks and form fields may not carry over.
